XProHub is a marketplace where each person can both hire help and offer their own skills. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We've written it in plain language on purpose.
This service is operated by [LEGAL_ENTITY] ("XProHub," "we," "us"). If you have questions about this policy, contact us at [CONTACT_EMAIL].
XProHub is intended only for people aged 18 or older. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and if we learn that we have, we will remove it.
When you sign up, we collect your email address and a password. Your password is hashed by our authentication provider — we never see or store it in readable form.
When you set up your profile, you can add your name and a profile photo. If you choose to offer your skills, you can add a short bio, the categories of work you do, your rate range, the area you're willing to travel, and photos of your past work, certificates, or references. Providing this is your choice, but some of it is needed to appear as a worker to other users.
When you post a job, you enter a neighborhood as free text and a description of the work. Photos you add to a listing, and the messages and photos you exchange in a job's chat (including "before" and "after" photos), are also stored.
We do not collect your location through GPS. XProHub has no access to your device's location. Any location information exists only because you typed it in.
Payments on XProHub are processed by Stripe. When you add a payment method or set up payouts, your card and bank details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our systems. We never see, handle, or store full card numbers, security codes, or bank account numbers.
What we do store are the dollar amounts of a transaction (the price, our fee, and the worker's payout), the status and timing of the escrow that holds payment until a job is confirmed, and the reference IDs Stripe gives us to connect a payment to your account. For more on how Stripe handles your data, see Stripe's own privacy policy.
We use the information above to run the service: to create and secure your account, to show your listings and profile to other users, to let customers and workers find and message each other, to move payments through escrow and release them when work is confirmed, and to respond to reports and support requests. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to serve you advertising.
Photos you upload — profile pictures, listing photos, work and chat photos, and portfolio images — are stored in a way that makes them accessible by direct link. Treat anything you upload as potentially viewable by others. Don't upload images you wouldn't want seen, and be mindful of other people's privacy in any photo you share.
We share information only with the service providers that make XProHub work, and only as needed:
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the safety of our users or the public. Other than these providers and these situations, we don't share your personal information with anyone.
If you join our waitlist, we store your email address and the date you signed up, so we can notify you when XProHub launches in your area. That's all the waitlist collects.
XProHub does not use analytics services, advertising trackers, tracking pixels, or third-party cookies. Our app stores a login session on your device so you don't have to sign in repeatedly; that's the extent of it. Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which as part of serving those files receives your browser's IP address — this is standard for web fonts and involves no other data.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we anonymize your personal details rather than erasing every record (see below). We retain certain transaction and safety records after deletion because we're required to or because they're needed for legitimate purposes like resolving disputes and preventing abuse.
You can delete your account from within the app. When you do, we cancel your open jobs, decline any pending bids, close your payment profile with Stripe, and replace your personal details — your name, email, photos, bio, and location — with anonymized values so they no longer identify you.
For accountability, we keep a record of past payments, endorsements, reports, and the content of completed jobs and their messages, but these are detached from your identifying information. You cannot delete your account while you have a job in progress or money held in escrow; finish or resolve those first.
We rely on established providers — Stripe for payments, Supabase for data — and on standard protections like encrypted connections and hashed passwords. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to limit what we collect in the first place.
You can review and update your profile information at any time in the app, and you can delete your account as described above. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information, such as the right to request a copy of it or to ask that it be corrected or deleted. To make a request, contact us at [CONTACT_EMAIL].
We may update this policy as XProHub evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the date below and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use XProHub after a change means you accept the updated policy.
